The Red Cottage and the Blue Cottage a clean, cozy and down to earth. You will enjoy watching nature, including at time even whales and icebergs in the harbour from your living room window! Located just over 30 minutes from Carbonear, you are a short drive from all of the modern conveniences a large Newfoundland town has to offer without having to sacrifice the peace and tranquillity of oceanfront living.

About this space
A priceless view of the Atlantic ocean and local treasure, Northern Bay Sands. This is a new cottage complete with a 10 x 24 deck where you can enjoy a coffee/tea and marvel at the amazing sunrise. A short drive or nice walk will take you to Northern Bay Sands, a beautiful sandy beach with a fresh water inlet. Favored by many of a summer day, its also a great place to watch fall storms and offers many photo opportunities. Explore ATV trails off the main rd. (2nd cottage next door)

Bring your own wood or call Brother Larry (number supplied upon booking), he will supply wood at a very reasonable $20 for a fish tub

The cottage is excellent. The open concept and large windows allowing lots of light and a great view were wonderful. Everything was clean and tidy inside and we immediately felt at home. The deck, facing the water, was well equipped (BBQ, table, chairs, etc.) and the view overlooking the ocean was unobstructed. It is in a very quiet area and there’s lots of space between dwellings... it’s a great place and well worth the visit!

This two bedroom cottage is a newly constructed building with a stunning view of the Atlantic ocean sunrise. It's a five minute drive from Northern Bay Sands. Locals will help you out with anything from directions to excursions to a place to buy fresh fish or homemade bread. The space will be equipped for people who have come from away and if it's not there just ask for it
